Senator Wendell Jones Endorses Bassi, Rauschenberger, Crane and Kirk...

PALATINE (February 2, 2004) - State Senator Wendell Jones today announced he is endorsing Suzie Bassi for State Representative, Steve Rauschenberger for the United States Senate and Phil Crane and Mark Kirk for 8th and 10th district Congressmen.

Suzie Bassi has served with me in the General Assembly for the past 5 1/2 years and her "pro business record is 100% plus she has never voted for a tax increase" Jones said.  After careful thought and consideration there is no reason Suzie should not be returned to Springfield.  40 House and 10 Senate colleagues including Minority leader Tom Cross have endorsed Suzie.

"Steve Rauschenberger has more governmental & political experience than all of his rivals combined" Jones said.  Steve will hit the ground running in Washington, D.C. and Illinois will not miss a beat in the transition from Fitzgerald to Rauschenberger.

This area is fortunate to be served by two of the most intelligent Congressmen in the United States - Phil Crane and Mark Kirk.

If our Republican ticket on November 2, 2004 has Bush, Bassi, Rauschenberger, Crane and Kirk our area and the Republican Party will be well served.
